Marble Hoon Kuih


Mixture A
– Star Brand Green Bean Starch 50g
– Pandan Leave 5 pieces
– Water 600ml
– Caster Sugar 75g
Mixture B
– Star Brand Green Bean Starch 25g
– Water 150ml
– Coconut Milk (thick) 150ml
– Salt � tsp

Cooking Method

Mixture A
  1. Blend pandan leaves with 200ml water. Strain with extra fine sieve. Add water to make 600ml pandan juice.

  2. Add green bean starch and caster sugar into the pandan juice. Stir well.
Mixture B
  1. Prepare an 8 inch mould.

  2. Pour � of mixture A into the mould to form the first layer. Pour entire mixture B as second layer. Pour the balance of mixture A as top layer.

  3. Swirl the mixture using a knife to get a marble effect. Refrigerate before serving.
